PERSON-CENTRED COUNSELLOR

About me and my therapy practice:

I am a dedicated trainee Counsellor with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Having successfully completed Levels 2 and 3 of professional counselling training, I am now working within completing my final Level 4 in becoming a qualified Counsellor.

With a particular focus on the person-centered approach, I believe in the inherent worth and autonomy of each individual and my main aims are to create a warm, empathetic, and non- judgmental environment. This is gained by supporting and strengthening the client’s own emotional resilience that, I feel, is within us all.

The most important factor of therapy, to me, is my commitment to fostering a collaborative relationship, where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their feelings, navigate difficulties, and enhance personal growth.

My dedication is in creating a safe space where we can be curious around the issues that we feel are holding us back, to be able to talk freely and to discuss how we can make different choices that lead to change. You will be the focus of our time together and through empathy and understanding we will work to explore a path forward.

What I can help with:

Anxious thoughts, bereavement, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, stress, work related issues, addiction.

I work with adults aged eighteen years and older. I offer sixteen weekly therapy sessions that can be extended to twenty-four sessions by mutual choice.
